A trip to Krakow would not be complete without visiting the large market in Grand Square (Pictured below).Vendors sell a great variety of carved and hand painted wooden trinkets including chess boards, dolls, jewelry boxes, etc. Many of the wooden boxes are reasonably priced and make great gifts.
When visiting the market you should allow yourself about an hour to make it from end to end. Also, keep in mind that many of the vendors are willing to bargain!
