While on our hike through Le Cinque Terre my friends and I stopped in Vernazza (the second town from Monterosso) for lunch. We wanted a light lunch that would boost our energy without weighing us down. We came upon Gianni Frannzi on Piazza Marconni. Once you are in the Piazza of Vernazza there are a few restaurants that have outdoor seating next to the water. Gianni Frannzi is the second restaurant on your left. If you plan to stop for a meal in Vernazza the food at Gianni Frannzi's is fresh and reasonably priced. There is a good selection of seafood, pasta and salads. Brhea, that looks amazing... and I am unspeakably jealous that you get to eat such incredible things while I am stuck sipping gingerale and eating crackers!
